Congrats HTC to your boys for giving my boys an absolute pasting. Systematically took us apart in a way that was very 'Aussies of old' like.

looking forward to the onedayers and 2020 where hopefully we can save some face. Shaun Tait will need to fire with his 160k thunderbolts (hopefully some at pietersons head Very Happy )

Thanks!! - is Shaun going to take his inspiration from Fidel Edwards?? Laughing

It did make a nice change for England to achieve some consistency of form; previous years have been pretty demoralising for English cricket. moments of brilliance scattered amongst some pretty consistently grim results. Maybe this success will fire up a bit more enthusiasm in schools and such to produce future players, we shall see.

My father was a serious and talented cricketer, he played until the age of 66, retiring when he could no longer out-run a 20-year old!! Both a batsman and bowler, he taught me the magic of bowling the googly, I think we were both equally chuffed when I first succeeded. He was a Yorkshireman by birth, but was moved to Essex as a child; as a result, he suffered severe schizophrenia when Yorkshire played Essex in county cricket!

Haha fidel edwards, shaun needs no inspiration. as he cant bowl for than 3 overs at a time so he has no time to draw on it!

If you can bowl a googly, perhaps you should get in touch with cricket Australia as I am pretty sure they will pay you what ever you want to teach us how to bowl spin again! In fact, since Warne retired Brad Hogg, Cameron White, Nathan Hauritz, Steve Smith, Xavier Doherty, Michael Beer (and probably a few others I have missed!) have all had a crack so you would probably be next in line for a CA contract!

Oh dear...
Ode for joy

A bloke walks into a brothel and says: "I'm a bit kinky, how much for total humiliation?"

The madam replies £60.

"Wow, what do I get for that," he says.

She says: "A baggy green cap and an Australian cricket shirt".

Yep, for sure, our own media has been pretty contemptuous of our cricket team for years now!
